报告人：Professor Peter Mather, Queensland University of Technology

报告人简介：
Peter is a Professor (Genetics and Ecology) in the Science and Engineering Faculty and his expertise covers the general fields of population genetics and ecology. Professor Mather’s research examines genetic diversity in wild and cultured aquatic species and aquaculture genetics and genomics. He has published more than 130 journal articles, book chapters and reviews and his work is widely cited.

报告题目2：Patterns of connectivity in riverine fauna - are they predictable?

报告人：Professor Jane Hughes, Griffith University

报告人简介：
Jane is a Professor in the Griffith School of Environment and the Australian Rivers Institute. The research in the lab is mostly concerned with using molecular genetic approaches to answering questions in ecology and evolutionary biology. Jane has over 200 publications, with 185 journal papers in the areas of ecology and evolution. She is an editor for three international journals, Heredity, Freshwater Science and Marine and Freshwater Research.
